What to Wear:

Students are required to have their own proper riding gear which includes a helmet (for the intro, a bike helmet is allowed), gloves, riding boots (paddock boots are ankle high, tall boots are knee high), and a crop (not needed in the beginning). Pricing:

We are a subscription-based program. Subscription-based lessons are very similar to other activities you or your rider may participate in such as sports, music lessons, cooking classes, etc. Lesson subscriptions secure the day and time for riders to take one lesson per week. Your subscription rate will be the same each month. Most months will have four lesson days and occasionally a month will have five. July and December will have three. Our monthly tuition price is based on the annual value of 50 lessons per year.

Cancellation Policy:

If the student cannot make his or her dedicated time during a week, Perennial Farm will allow one makeup lesson per month provided the student cancels by 5 p.m. the day prior to the lesson via text. If a lesson is not made up within the month, it will expire. Lessons missed during the last week of the month will have an additional one-week grace period in the following month. In the event the weather prevents riding, unmounted horsemanship lessons will be substituted. Should weather prevent the barn from being open at all, makeup times will be offered.

The stables are closed the week of June 30th - July 6th and December 23rd - December 29th, 2024. Additionally, we are closed

January 27th for the Gasparilla invasion, February 23rd for a private TYCC event and November 28th for Thanksgiving. If your lessons fall on January 27th, February 23rd, or November 28th, they are all eligible for makeup lessons.

Billing:

Our monthly tuition price is based on the annual value of 50 lessons per year. You will put a credit card on file that will be automatically charged $355 plus a processing fee each month.

Charges will begin on the first day of enrollment and continue every month thereafter. This agreement may be canceled by either party with at least 30 days written notice prior to the desired date of termination, however no refunds will be given.
